Blue Eye Whites

This December 2017 we are so excited to announce a litter of blue eye white continental giants born in the US. This dream could not have been possible without the foundation of amazing rabbits and hard work from Europe. We are happy to share this first litter with the US. 

We have been working on blue eye white genetics in other breeds of rabbits for the past 7 years and thought why not give it a try with these lovely giant rabbits also!

Our parents are from the UK out of striking lines. We like to begin the foundation with vienna carriers which are rabbits with white marks (VM). Some do not display markings and are called carriers (VC). When we take a vienna gene carrier and a vienna marked rabbit together we can get white rabbits with Blue eyes, thus begins the journey. Lastly and most importantly, in order to retain good bone quality, we like to use a solid non-carrying parent with a Blue Eye White (BEW) parent at the foundation. We use these carriers with other carriers and get quality Blue Eye Whites! This has been true with other breeds of rabbits and is necessary for quality to our foundation and we hope yours as well!
